How much does it cost to list parts?

We have several different seller plans available. Our basic seller plan is 100% free! You can compare all of the options on our plans page .

How do I get my parts inventory on the site?

Once you have signed-up for an account and logged-in, you can upload your parts using the upload wizard.

Where can I find information about the upload file?

Our upload guidelines page lists the file details as well as best practices for uploading your inventory.

What methods of payment can I use pay for my account?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express. We currently do not offer invoicing for individual accounts. If you have more than 5 locations contact us for alternative payment options.

How do I get paid from the buyer?

RearCounter.com works to bring buyers and sellers together. We currently do not facilitate the transaction. It is up to the seller to collect payment and fulfill the order.

Does RearCounter.com have a long-term contract?

No long-term contacts here! You can cancel, upgrade or downgrade at any time. If you decide to cancel or downgrade your plan, your account will stay at the current plan until the current term expires and will either not renew in the case of a cancellation or will renew at the lower rate if you downgraded.

What types of parts do you accept?

We currently accept new OEM and NOS automotive parts.

What is the difference between the plans?

Each plan offers slightly different features. Visit our plan page for more information. Feel free to contact our support team for help.

Can I just upload a few parts?

Yes you can. The procedure will be the same as uploading a larger file. Our upload guidelines page lists the file details as well as best practices for uploading your inventory.

How often do I need to upload a new inventory file?

RearCounter.com rewards sellers that recently updated their inventory with preferred rankings with their plan sections on the part details page, so the more frequent the updates the better. Basic (Free) listings expire after 3 months. Premium plan listings will not expire, but we do recommend refreshing your listings at a minimum of every two weeks.

How do I get started?

The first step is to sign-up for an account.

How long does it take for my listings to go live?

Once your inventory is upload, our quality team reviews your file within one business day and it will be live on site within 6 hours.

What are the file upload specifications?

Our upload guidelines page lists the file details as well as best practices for uploading your inventory.

How do customers contact me?

Your plan type (Free or Premium) determines what contact options are available.

Basic plans do not display your phone number, address and business name. You can only receive leads via email.

Premium plans display your company name, profile and phone number as well as offering buyers the use of a form to enter their information which is emailed to you. Our research suggests that displaying a seller's phone number can increase responses up to five times.

How much does it cost?

Nothing! As a buyer you can search for parts and contact sellers for free.

Why is a seller's phone number not listed?

We offer several different plans for sellers, some of which do not display the seller's phone number. If a seller's phone number is not displayed ,it is because they are on a plan that does not offer this feature. You can still contact them through the online form.

How often are your listings updated?

Each seller updates their inventory on a different schedule, so it varies by seller. Inventory that has been updated within the last week contains a "Recently Updated" flag on the part detail page.

What types of parts do you accept?

What is your return policy?

Each seller has their own return policy, so check with the seller prior to purchase for more information. RearCounter.com does not facilitate the sale.

How do I pay for parts?

Your transaction with the seller will be handled outside of RearCounter.com. The seller will provide information as to what payment options are available.
